David M. Gutknecht has been in full-time Christian ministry for the past 48 years as a pastor, church consultant, and professional counselor. He is currently a Licensed Professional Counselor with the State of Colorado. David’s experience in observing and working with individuals resulted in the development of a number of life-changing resources for 1000s of people, including the Speaking the Truth in Love communication system and the 1-year Bible reading guide, The Word by Steps. Dave is also a published author and his most recent book, Let God Be Your Life Coach is available at Amazon.com.

Due to Covid restrictions, along with the increasing cost to drive, and providing efficient time management solutions for Dave's clients, most of his counseling sessions are now conducted virtually through live video. This provides a great solution for clients who have issues with travel time and requiring flexibility to meet at times that don't interfere with work, school, or family commitments. Dave is a self-taught classical guitarist and is now teaching himself how to play the harmonica. There's no truth to rumor he's been asked to lend his harp playing skills to the next Rolling Stones tour! Dave and his wife Chris just celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.
